Hello spring, hello easter

1. Rabbit storage

2. Chick hangers

3. rabbit bookend

4. Bunny necklaces

Sweet Lulu’s has been making the rounds on the blogs lately so you may have already come across these. I’m rather in love with the little straws, especially in bubbleguum pink, and just perfect for pink dazzleberry lemonade (Yo Gabba Gabba reference, get with it). If you’re not big on all things birthdays, these can certainly act as your theme.

1. JCrew cardigan

3. Nellystella dress

4. Petit Bateau shirt

5. Flora and Henri swimwear

6. JCrew shorts

7. Salt Water Sandals

8. Superga

Roll on summer. I have started to put together Edie’s wardrobe for this year which includes most of these pieces. I’m much more inclined to buy just a few things which I love, opposed to lots of items which are much cheaper. A lot of these items I was able to get discounted, and I like that all of the pieces are interchangeable/layer-able. The red superga shoes are often on gilt.com at half price, and amazon.com seems a little cheaper than most anywhere else. The salt water sandals are such a classic, but for pudgy feet I would only recommend the adjustable front ones, as last year Edie couldn’t fit her meatloaves in the non-adjustables.

Ohhhh, now for little boys clothing. Matching bathing suits potentially?

Nellstella nails it every single season. Soft, ethereal and wearable with a european edge—just my cup of tea. I was able to pick up a few pieces for the summer, in a huge sale that finns find was having, but there are plenty more wishlist items here. Mostly the swing trench and that grey and pink tassled dress. Enjoy!

I saw this over on Apartment Therapy a year or two back and love that Edie and Tommy could have there own little garden which they can take care of. It comes in two heights and is moveable—more importantly, the drainage system sounds like it’s built for people with black thumbs (that would be me).

New and improved Toms. A much needed wider and thicker sole makes for a happy Tom wearer.

Here’s a few pieces from American Eagle’s 77 line. This is a compilation of toddler and big kids, and most of which re on clearance. Some of these pieces are very Petit Bateau at a fraction of the price. Most items are in the $20 range.

I’ve seen the amber necklaces for teething before but these colourful lovelies are new to me. I’m inclined to get a little bracelet for Edie as a dress-up piece just beacuse they seem much safer. Anyone used or seen these before?

Chewbead write-up:

The idea for Chewbeads began in 2009 shortly after the birth of my son. Like most babies, he loved to put everything in his mouth and my necklaces were a favorite. Like most moms, I didn’t feel comfortable letting him chew on them, with concern that they might break or have unwanted chemicals. As a veteran of the fashion industry, I had an amazing collection of necklaces and bracelets, so with those as my inspiration, I set out to create soft, non-toxic jewelry, which was colorful, chic and, above all else safe. Hence, Chewbeads!

  • Beads are made with 100% silicone (similar to pacifiers & nipples)
  • Soft on babies gums and emerging teeth
  • Easily cleaned with dish soap & water, also dishwasher safe!
  • No BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, or Lead
  • Necklaces have a breakaway clasp for added safety
  • Necklaces are a great sensory tool to help your baby focus while nursing
  • Bracelets are a colorful reminder of which side you’ve just nursed

Toddler bed finalists

I did all the hardwork so you don’t have to!

I’m pretty smitten with toddler beds, especially beacuse we live in a shoebox. Here’s a few of my favourites—yes, they are all white and birch, I’m boring simple.
